The Defense Language and National Security Education Office works with Service ROTC Headquarters and other organizations to provide ROTC students who enroll in critical language programs opportunities to learn language and culture so they can be better leaders to meet challenges in today’s dynamic global environment.

Air Force ROTC offers Foreign Language scholarships to eligible students enrolled in the Air Force ROTC program while a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

Army ROTC scholarships are available for foreign language majors.

Navy ROTC offers Language Regional Expertise and Culture (LREC) program scholarships to NROTC students who express an interest in culture and language. 

The Language Flagship works closely with each Service's ROTC Cadet Commands and campus programs to provide opportunities for ROTC students to participate in and complete the Flagship program with professional level proficiency in a critical language and culture. 

Project Global Officer (Project GO) provides scholarships to ROTC students in three services for critcal language study domestically and abroad.
