DLN Casino Guide ("we", "us") publishes independent reviews and guides about online casinos licensed outside the UK. We don't operate any gambling service and we don't hold player accounts or funds. For privacy questions, use our contact form.
Data We Collect
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use this only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and content delivery providers log technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of visit. These logs are used for security, to prevent abuse and to keep the site running, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Affiliate links
When you click a link to a casino, you pass through a redirect that tells the casino's affiliate programme the visit came from us. We don't receive your personal details from the casino; we only see aggregated figures such as the number of sign-ups.
Cookies
Our own pages don't set advertising or tracking cookies. Affiliate redirects and casino websites may set their own cookies once you leave our site; their privacy policies apply to those. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Legal Basis
Under UK GDPR we process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interests (replying to you) and technical logs on the basis of legitimate interests (security and operation of the site).
Sharing
We don't sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who host the website and deliver email on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it, or where the law requires disclosure.
International Transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses to keep your data protected.
How Long We Keep Data
- Contact form messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
- Server logs: typically up to 90 days.
Your Rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and request a copy in a portable format. Contact us through the contact page. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
